Background
I’ve always felt the need to express myself in some form by which I can reach many people without forcing it on them. This website is a place where I try to do so. Different from what most people occosciate their place to do so on the internet being social media platfroms such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, I find more value in creating my own way of platform: This site.
First of all I do not believe in such platforms adding much in the way to our individualism as some may think. The user is never the one in controll over their data, nor is there enough transparencey regarding changes to the algorithm. Increasingly the frontpage and the entire layout of such platfroms have become just huge digital billboards, forcing you to watch and click on so much random content and then manipulating you into buying things you never needed.
These things don’t add to our valuable time nor do they make us actually happier. Because I realised this I deleted all main accounts I had on theses platforms and started living happier ever since, not having to worry about my and their fake image we had build for ourselves. Let me be real here:
I own this site, I created it and I’m going to make it whatever I feel like making it.
